To foster a positive learning climate within each classroom, the physical layout is designed into learning centres based on themes that encourage children to explore, experiment and discover in small groups. The arrangement has a powerful effect on children's learning. They allow children ample opportunities to explore and try out ideas freely and independently at their own time and at their own pace.

Activities designed for these centres encourage exploration, experimentation, cooperation and decision-making. The objectives of each learning centre target at achieving Howard Gardners's Multiple Intelligences - Bodily Kinesthetic, Linguistic, Mathematical-logical, Visual Spatial, Interpersonal, Musical, Intrapersonal and Naturalist.

The learning centres in each classroom include: Dramatic Play, Art & Crafts, Language, Blocks, Water Play, Sand Play, Discovery, Library, Table Toys, Computer, Numeracy.

In our classrooms, children's works are often on display. We believe that children learn to take pride in their own work when they see their works being valued and displayed.
